Serial number 145-044505.

In 1984 Sinclair introduced the Spectrum+ which had a new, bigger case and a keyboard with moulded keys. The keywords, which were printed in white making them more visible, included new ones for microdrive operation and there were some new characters.

The Plus was the first Spectrum to be fitted with a reset switch and it had retractable feet to improve the typing position.

Spectrum owners could buy a kit to upgrade to the Plus.
