Route 15.
For Netley abbey ruins and Weston Shore, get off at the junction of Grange Road and Victoria Road. For the Royal Victoria Country Park and Sophie's Pond, get off at the junction of Station Road and Victoria Road (the Co-op). There is also a path into the country park and the military cemetery from the Verdon Avenue stop on Hamble Lane in Hamble.
Route 17
Duncan Close is the nearest stop to Weston Shore.
     
 
First Solent
X4 and X5 routes include Woolston, Bursledon, Lower Swanwick (The Spinnaker bus stop for Swanwick Shore Road and the river path to Warsash) and Sarisbury plus Warsash (X5 only).
     
 
This is a selection of routes. Routes may change. There are other bus service operators in the area. Please check before travelling.
Local Trains
Bursledon Station
Bursledon is the nearest station to Lower Swanwick (about 0.5 mile to Swanwick Shore Road and the river path to Warsash) and the upper reaches of the river Hamble.
     
 
Netley Station
Netley station is ideal for the Royal Victoria Country Park (about 0.6 mile via footpaths and Hound Road, about 1 mile via Station Road, Netley village and Victoria Road). It is the nearest station to Netley Abbey ruins (about 1 mile) and the Netley end of Weston Shore.
     
Hamble Station
About 1.5 miles along Hamble Lane from Hamble Quay. The nearest bus stop is on the platform 2 side of the station. Cross the road for Hamble.
     
 
Woolston Station
Woolston Station is nearest for Weston Shore (about 1 mile). Follow Victoria Road to Woolston Sailing Club.
     
South Western Railway
These stations are served by stopping services on the Southampton-Portsmouth line. Stations are mostly unstaffed.
     
   
Others
Hamble-Warsash Ferry
The famous pink ferry. Check for current operating days and times. Service subject to weather conditions. The path to the ferry on the Warsash side can be slippery. There is a pontoon for access at Hamble Quay at all times and on the Warsash side at high tide only.
