Hamble Quay
A chance to sit by the river. There are shops, cafes, takeaways and pubs from Hamble Square to Hamble Quay. Ferry to Warsash.

Hamble Village
The old part of the village is adjacent to Hamble Quay. A little way up from Hamble Square is the Norman priory church of St Andrew the Apostle.

Hamble Lane
Hamble Lane runs out of the village from the end of High Street at the junction with Copse Lane. A short way along is Ensign Way which leads to the beach on Southampton Water. Another route to the shore is to continue along Hamble Lane to Coach Road. There are a few shops here at Coronation Parade, handy for refreshments. Coach Road leads to Westfield Common. From here you can go to the beach, walk along footpaths or continue on the road to a footpath into the Royal Victoria Country Park. There is no through route via Kings Road.
Continuing along Hamble Lane, just beyond the shops is a footpath to the Royal Victoria Country Park. There is a turning to the right on this path which takes you to the Commonwealth War Graves cemetery. Other footpaths, known as The Rail Trail, lead off this side of Hamble Lane, next to the school and at the entrance to the police headquarters.
    Left: Coronation Parade shops.
Right: The footpath to the country park.
