From home via St Denys Road, Cobden Bridge, Bitterne Park Triangle, Bullar Road, Bitterne Road, Northam Bridge, Princes Street, Millbank Street, Belvidere Road, Marine Parade, Albert Road North, Itchen Bridge, Bridge Road, Portsmouth Road, Pound Road, Hamble Lane, Satchell Lane and Hamble Square to Hamble Quay. 9.02mi 14.52km.

A break at Hamble Quay then via Green Lane, School Lane, Copse Lane, Hamble Lane, Ensign Way and Hamble Shore to the Royal Victoria Country Park. Round the park and through the woods to the café for a break, sitting outside. From there to Netley station via Victoria Road and Station Road. 3.83mi 6.16km. Train home.

Despite a rainy forecast, a mostly dry day with a short shower along Hamble Shore and more general rain on the way from the country park to Netley station.

A break at Hamble Quay then via Green Lane, School Lane, Hamble Common and Hamble Shore to the Royal Victoria Country Park. Round the park and through the woods to the café for a break, sitting outside. From there to Netley station via Victoria Road and Station Road. 3.89mi 6.26km. Train home.

12.92mi 20.79km.

Good sunny spells with a light shower as I crossed Itchen Bridge and another while at Hamble Quay.

Thursday 4 December

A break at Hamble Quay then via Green Lane, School Lane, Copse Lane, Hamble Lane, Coach Road, Westfield Common and Hamble Shore to the Royal Victoria Country Park. Round the park and through the woods to the café for a break, sitting outside. From there to Netley station via Victoria Road and Station Road. 3.82mi 6.15km. Train home.

After a wet night and early morning, a dry day with some sunshine. Feeling colder in the northerly wind.

Round the park and through the woods to the café for a break, sitting outside. From there to Netley station via Victoria Road and Station Road. 3.48mi 5.60km. Train home.

A grey and windy day with a few light showers.

Wednesday 10 December

A break at Hamble Quay then via Green Lane, School Lane, Hamble Common and Hamble Shore to the Royal Victoria Country Park. Across the park to the café for a break, sitting outside. From there to Netley station via Victoria Road and Station Road. 3.78mi 6.08km. Train home.

Mild with some good sunny spells. A chilly wind along Hamble Shore but the sun made up for this.

From home via St Denys Road, Cobden Bridge, Riverside Park, Mansbridge Road, Swaythling Road, Church Hill, Moorhill Road, Moorhill Gardens, Thornhill Park Road, Kanes Hill, West End Road, Bursledon Road, Le Marechal Avenue, Bower's Drive, Hamble Lane, Satchell Lane and Hamble Square to Hamble Quay. 9.65mi 15.53km.

A break at Hamble Quay then via Green Lane, School Lane, Copse Lane, Hamble Lane, Ensign Way and Hamble Shore to the Royal Victoria Country Park. Round the park and through the woods to the café for a break, sitting outside. From there via Hound Road, Hound Way and Station Road to Netley station. 3.83mi 6.16km. Train home.

A sunny start, becoming more cloudy. Mild for the time of year despite a chilly wind.

From home via St Denys Road, Cobden Bridge, Bitterne Park Triangle, Bullar Road, Bitterne Road (Lances Hill), Bitterne Precinct, Bursledon Road, Le Marechal Avenue, Bower's Drive, Hamble Lane, Jurd Way, Portsmouth Road, Oak Hill, Bridge Road, Swanwick Shore Road, river path, marina, river path, footpath, Passage Lane, Shore Road, Newtown Road, Hook Park Road and the footpath through the local nature reserve to the beach on Southampton Water. From there along the river path to Shore Road and a coffee break. From Shore Road, along the footpath to the ferry hard. 10.32mi 16.61km. Ferry to Hamble.

From Hamble Quay via Green Lane, Hamble Common, School Lane footpath, Hamble Point car park and Hamble Shore to the Royal Victoria Country Park. Round the park and through the woods to the café for a break, sitting outside. From there via Hound Road, Hound Way and Station Road to Netley station. 4.24mi 6.82km. Train home.

14.56mi 23.43km.

A chilly and misty start but very nice once the sun came out. Mild with a light breeze.
