From home via St Denys (Horseshoe Bridge, Itchen boardwalk and river path, under Northam Bridge, Princes Street, Millbank Street, Belvidere Road, Marine Parade, Albert Road North, Itchen Bridge, Bridge Road, Portsmouth Road, Botley Road, Kestrel Park, Le Marechal Avenue, Bower's Drive, Hamble Lane, Satchell Lane and Hamble Square to Hamble Quay. 9.28mi 14.93km.
A break at Hamble Quay then via Green Lane, School Lane, Copse Lane, Hamble Lane, Coach Road, Westfield Common and Hamble Shore to the Royal Victoria Country Park. Round the park and through the woods to the café for a break, sitting outside. From there to Hamble station via Hound Road, The Orchard, Hamble Rail Trail and Hamble Lane. 3.78mi 6.08km. Train home.

From home via St Denys Road, Cobden Bridge, Bitterne Park Triangle, Bullar Road, Bitterne Road (Lances Hill), Bitterne Precinct, Bursledon Road, Le Marechal Avenue, Bower's Drive, Hamble Lane, Jurd Way, Portsmouth Road, Oak Hill, Bridge Road, Barnes Lane, Brook Lane, Newtown Road, Hook Park Road and the footpath through the local nature reserve to the beach on Southampton Water. A break with a drink then along the river path, Shore Road and footpath to the ferry pontoon. 10.32mi 16.61m. Ferry to Hamble.
A break at Hamble Quay then via Hamble Square, High Street, Hamble Lane, Ensign Way and Hamble Shore to the Royal Victoria Country Park. Sat by the water for a while before crossing the country park to the café. A good break outside the café before walking to Hamble station via Hound Road, The Orchard, Hamble Rail Trail and Hamble Lane. 3.34mi 5.38km. Train home.

Round the park and through the woods to the café for a break, sitting outside. From there to Netley station via Hound Road, Hound Way and Station Road. 4.15mi 6.68km. Train home.

A break in the sun with a drink. Along the footpath, Shore Road and footpath to the ferry pontoon. 10.19mi 16.40km. Ferry to Hamble.
A break at Hamble Quay before walking via Green Lane, Hamble Common, School Lane, Hamble Common and Hamble Shore to the Royal Victoria Country Park. Round the park to the café. Sat nearby in the sun with a drink. From the country park to Netley station via Hound Road and the footpath to The Badgers. 3.17mi 5.10km. Train home.
