WINTONLINE
Starts Sunday 27th January 1980

Everyone's bus will be affected in some way, either a different route, route number or new times. So please study this book and make sure that you know all about your bus after the 27th January.

Wintonline was designed to suit your needs from the information that you gave us in your tremendous response to the survey that we made eighteen months ago. This told us what people in and around Winchester needed from their bus service and how in many cases we could improve the service by re-designing the network. It also showed how we could make better use of our resources to run more economically.

If you have any questions about the new services our staff at the Broadway Bus Station will be pleased to help. Alternatively look out for the Information Bus which will be around the area before and after the 27th January. In a sense the 27th January is the "start of the beginning" of Wintonline because we shall be watching how things go to see if we can improve things even more.

We have done our best to get things right first time but, like everyone else, we are not infallible so we would welcome your help in making Wintonline even better. If you have a suggestion or if Wintonline makes things more difficult for you please write to us at the Bus Station.

WHAT'S CHANGED

Some people will have fewer buses and others more. But with one or two exceptions buses will be running along the same roads as now. Most buses will have a new number with some route variations and different times. For the time being there is no change to services south of Winchester (except on Services X12 and 193).

BUS STOPS

By and large buses will be running over the same roads as now and using the same bus stops. All buses will run, as now, into the city centre.
