Amendment leaflets are in the Timetables section

The text from the leaflets has been reproduced as it was printed. The sentences appear far too long to modern readers and the punctuation is decidedly odd. Some of the wording is very old fashioned as is the use of capitals. Spelling mistakes have not been corrected. References to crossing the boundary to Dorset reflect the fact that Bournemouth was at this time still in Hampshire. This also explains the place name County Gates in timetables. The 1971 prices are the first to use the new decimal money. They may seem low now but at the time people would still have seen 75p as fifteen shillings which sounded much higher.
