Gosport 2.00mi / 3.22km - from the eastern end of Stokes Bay. Cross the park to Stokes Bay Road and in to Anglesey Road. Continue through Alverstoke and turn right to South Street B3333. Either follow this road or cross via White Hart Road to Stoke Road which runs in the same direction. This route takes you through the shopping centre while the B3333 runs to the side of it. Both routes bring you to Gosport ferry and bus station.
Gosport 2.20mi / 3.54km - from the eastern end of Stokes Bay. Cross the park to Stokes Bay Road and in to Anglesey Road. Turn right in to Clayhall Road. Follow this road until its junction with Haslar Road. Turn left in to Haslar Road, pass the submarine museum and turn right to go over the bridge. On the other side of the bridge, take the path to the side of Haslar Marina. This path joins the end of The Esplanade and leads to the ferry terminal.
Lee-on-the-Solent 2.05 mi / 3.30km - from the western end of Stokes Bay. The shore beyond this point is part of the Browndown military training area and is occasionally closed to the public. If open, you can continue along the shore to Lee-on-the-Solent.
Lee-on-the-Solent 2.20mi / 3.54km - from the western end of Stokes Bay. Passing the diving museum, go up Stokes Bay Road to the roundabout and turn left in to Browndown Road. Follow this road to Privett Road B3333 and turn left. The road changes name to Portsmouth Road and then to Marine Parade East on entering Lee-on-the-Solent. There is an alternative route from this point along the beach path.
